Mr. Douglas Ray Pyle of Lawrenceburg, TN., departed this life on Monday, July 31, 2017, at the age of 62 Years, 2 Months due to injuries received in a motorcycle accident near Clifton, TN., He was born May 31, 1955 in New Castle, IN., the son of Patty Jane Lovett Pyle of Lawrenceburg, TN and the late Chester R. Pyle.
He was united in marriage to Simone Dawn Atkins on February 16, 1996.
Mr. Pyle was retired from Bell Construction as a heavy equipment operator.
He is survived by other than his mother, wife Simone Dawn Atkins Pyle of Lawrenceburg, TN., sons, Shane Pyle ,wife Sandra of Homestead, FL, Justin Atkins of Waynesboro, TN., daughter, Chastity Odle, husband James of Waynesboro, TN., grandsons, Tyler Pyle and Ryder Atkins, brother, Jeffrey Paul, wife Stacey, sister, Jayne Tefft all of Waynesboro, TN, nieces and nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Kirk Pyle.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, August 5, 2017 at 9:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee. His remanis were cremated with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 5, 2017, 5:00 --9:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro.
