Douglas Wolfe

DOUGLAS WOLFE

was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on December 21, 1927 the son of the late Walker and Minnie Moore Wolfe.

On December 24, 1952 he was united in marriage to Mary Ellen Casteel, who preceded her husband in death on June 26, 1987.

Mr. Wolfe served his country in the United State Army. He was a self employed truck driver and did farming also.

Mr. Wolfe departed this life on January 11, 2017 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 89 years and 21 days.

He is survived by his children, Debbie Russell, Phillip Wolfe and his wife Belinda, all of Savannah, Tennessee and Kristi Blakney and her husband Ritchie of Michie, Tennessee.

six grandchildren, Magen and Cale Russell, Brandon and Dustin Wolfe, Kaleigh Haubrich and Rylee Blakney

five great grandchildren, Cohen and Micah Russell, Bailey Wolfe, Kenlee and Sophie Haubrich

one brother, Billy Wolfe of Savannah, Tennessee and one sister, Effie Jean Williams of Savannah, Tennessee

In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one son in law, Steve Russell.
