Dwayne E. Sherrill

Dwayne Earl Sherrill of Collinwood, TN was born February 23, 1961 in Savannah, TN, the son of Mary Lou Holt Sherrill of Collinwood, TN, who survives and the late Kenneth Earl Sherrill.

Dewayne was a skidder driver for Newborn Logging and departed this life suddenly on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 54 Years, 10 Months, 28 Days.

Other than his mother, he is survived by his fiancee', Carisa A. (Lulu) Davis;
a brother, Dwight L. Sherrill and wife, Sherry and nephews, Derrek and Daekon Sherrill all of Collinwood, TN; aunts, uncles and cousins.

In addition to his father, Mr. Sherrill was preceded in death by Grandparents, Edward and Mary Sherrill and Charlie and Pearl Holt.

Services will be Friday, January 22, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Cromwell Crossroads Church in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Camryn Eaton and Greg Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Pallbearers will be Stacy Holt, Michael Bratcher, Chris Caperton, Junior Haddock, Vince Newborn and Steve Devers. Honorary pallbearers will be Jacob Wright, Jordan Holt, Bobby Beckham, John Holt and Greg Pigg.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 6 pm until service time at Cromwell Crossroads Church, Collinwood, TN.
