Services for Earl Jasper Brewer, Jr. age, 52, of Waynesboro will be Sunday, November 22, 2009 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro with Cal Hampton, Jeff Stiles, and Herbert Brewer officiating. Interment will be in Highland United Methodist Church Cemetery, Highway 64 East, Waynesboro, with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County directing. Pallbearers will be Jordan Brewer, Kenneth Brewer, Jacoby Brewer, Jimmy Hardin, Anthony Reed, and Austin Reed. Visitation will be Saturday, November 21, 2009 from 5 pm to 9 pm and Sunday, November 22, 2009 from 9 am until service time at the funeral home.
Earl was born November 16, 1957 in Hohenwald, Tennessee, the son of E. J. and Mai Jennings Brewer of Waynesboro, who survives. He was a grandson of the late Fred and Maude Jennings and Doc and Oma Mae Brewer. Earl, a retired respiratory therapist, was a former co-owner of Breath of Life and also retired from Home Medical Care.
He departed this life on Thursday, November 19, 2009 at Wayne Medical Center in Waynesboro, TN at the age of 52 years, 3 days.
Other than his parents, he is survived by his wife, Stacey Hardin Brewer of Waynesboro; two daughters, Brandi Reed and husband, Anthony of Collinwood, and Erica Brewer of Waynesboro; three grandchildren, Austin Reed, Lakelyn Reed, and Jayden Ann Lauderdale; brother, Kenny Brewer and wife, Beth of Waynesboro; and a cousin that was like a sister he never had, Deloris Mathis and husband, Benny of Waynesboro, nephews, nieces, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
