Earline Stults Burns Skaggs of Florence, AL, was born May 15, 1932 in Wayne County, TN, the daughter of the late Grady and Bethel Daniel Burns. She was united in marriage to Ellis Lee Stults, May 21, 1949 and he preceded her in death on October 30, 2002. She then married Dalton Skaggs, who survives on July 15, 2015.
Mrs. Earlene was a retired beautician and LPN and was a member of the Underwood Baptist Church in Florence, Alabama.
She departed this life on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, Mississippi at the age of 84 Years, 11 Months, 26 Days.
Other than her husband, she is survived by a son, Michael E. Stults and wife, Cheryl of Detroit, MI; a daughter, Patricia Webb and husband, Curtis of Florence, AL; grandchildren, Heather Zimmer, husband, Thomas, Jason Michael Stults, Christine Mullins, husband, Brad and J. R. Fox; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; sisters, Shirley Hubbard, husband James of Lexington, AL, Glenda Daniel, husband, David Earl of Lutts, TN; sisters-in-law, Carlene Daniel and Earline Reba McGill; a brother-in-law, Tony Stults, wife, Kay; nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and first husband, Mrs. Earlene was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Stults; grandchildren, Jason Robert Stults and Michelle Stults; a great-grandchild, Kirtland Stults and a brother, J. T. Burns.
Services will be Monday, May 15, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Keith Montgomery officiating. Burial will follow in Railroad Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Wayne County, directing. Visitation will be Sunday, May 14, 2017 from 5 pm to 8 pm and Monday, May 15, 2017 from 10 am until service time at the funeral home.
Pallbearers will be Lewis, Alan and Shannon Daniel, Jared and Brady Williams and Lucas Stults.
