Early W. Fincher

Mr. Early W. Fincher, Sr., age 82 of Middleton, passed from this life Thursday afternoon, March 29, 2012 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, TN.
He was born in Columbus, GA February 24, 1930 to the late Emory J. D. and Norma Ruth Smith Fincher. He served his country in the United States Army and worked as a truck driver for various companies, including Smiths Transport and Garrison Motor Freight for 45 years. In 2000, he opened Early's Diner in Middleton and later moved it to Faulkner, MS. Mr. Fincher loved people and enjoyed fishing in his earlier years. Past residences include West Memphis where he had lived since 1963 before moving to Middleton in 1977.
He leaves as his survivors, a daughter, Sissy Pogue of Clifton, TN; two sons, Junior Fincher of Middleton and Allen Fincher of West Memphis, AR; six grandchildren, Robert Fincher, Kimberlee Johnson, Allison Fincher, Kyna Scott, Bobby Howell and Katelyn Howell; and eight great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by four sisters.
