Ed Jones

Ed Jones was born on February 26, 1963, the son of the late Elbert Dee and Rosa Lee Lipford Jones. On September 10, 1983, he was united in marriage to Gail Stanford, who survives.

Mr. Jones lived in Hardin County for fifteen years and in the Leapwood area for several years. He worked for the Danny Williams Sawmill for fifteen years and for the Ingles Sawmill for one year as a fork-lift operator. He enjoyed riding 4-wheelers in his free time.

Mr. Jones departed this life on February 2, 2013, at the age of 50 years, 11 months and 7 days.

In addition to his wife Gail Stanford Jones of Savannah, Tennessee, he is survived by two sons, Eddie Joseph Jones of Garvin, Wisconsin and Kevin Lynn Jones of Savannah, Tennessee; five sisters, Janice Suitor of Savannah, Tennessee, Brenda Holloway of Adamsville, Tennessee, Brandi Burkhead of Olive Hill, Tennessee, Kristen Burkhead of Savannah, Tennessee and Linda Bobbitt of Lexington, Tennessee; three brothers, Randy Jones of Adamsville, Tennessee, Joey Burkhead of Olive Hill, Tennessee and Gerald Jones of Adamsville, Tennessee; and two grandchildren, Elijah Jones and Riley Jones.
