Edith Mary Martin

Edith Mary Hanvey Martin of Cypress Inn, TN was born February 13, 1927 in Wayne Co., Tennessee, the daughter of the late Villard and Nannie Daniels Hanvey. She was united in marriage to Henry Lee Martin on September 10, 1949.Mrs. Martin was retired from the Packing House and was a member of the Fairview Baptist Church.She is survived by her husband, Henry Lee Martin; a son, Willie Lee Martin both of Cypress Inn, TN; 4 Grandchildren, a sister, Betty Ruth Holt of Florence, AL; nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents, Mrs. Martin was preceded in death by three brothers, William, Alfred, and Charles Hanvey; and a sister, Lois Hanvey. Services will be Sunday, May 29, 2011 at 3:30 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home Chapel, Collinwood, Tennessee, with Robert Marks officiating. Burial will follow in the Cedar Grove Cemetery, Iron City, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors, Waynesboro, TN directing.
