Edith Gertrude McCreery

Edith Gertrude McCreery of Collinwood, TN was born October 17, 1923 in Collinwood, TN, the daughter of the late Willie H. Pigg, Sr. and Minnie LaRue Pigg. She was united in marriage to Dan McCreery and he preceded her in death.Mrs. McCreery was a retired factory worker. Mrs. McCreery departed this life on Sunday, February 24, 2013at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 89 Years, 4 Months, 7 Days.She is survived by a sister-in-law, Lorene Pigg, Collinwood, TN; brother-in-law; Dave Holdren, Citrus Springs, FL; nieces and nephews.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. McCreery was preceded in death by a brother, Willie H. Pigg Jr. and a sister, Stella Holdren.Entombment will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola, IN on Wednesday, February 27, 2013 at 10 am.
