Edith M. Patmorewas born in Clifton, Tennessee on February 20, 1923 the daughter of the late Lewis E. and Fannie B. McMahan Wilson.On April 10, 1947 she was united in marriage to William (Jiggs) Patmore, who preceded her in death on January 19, 1999.Mrs. Patmore worked as a cutter for Clifton Manufacturing for 20 years before retiring. She had also worked as a cook at Frank Hughes High School in Clifton and on the towboat. During World War II she worked as a riveter in Indiana. She enjoyed cooking, working in her yard, helping and being a servant to others. She was a member of Mt. Carmel Methodist Church and the Eastern Stars.Mrs. Patmore departed this life Wednesday, June 17, 2009 at the age of 86 years, 3 months, 28 days.Mrs. Patmore is survived by a sister, Lonnie K. Evans of Clifton, Tennessee.In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Keith Isaac Patmore; 2 sisters, Ruby Wilson Boyd and Baxie Wilson Reeves; a brother: Connie D. Wilson.
