Edith Nell Dixon Weatherspoon was born on April 7, 1954 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Henry "Bud" Casey and Hattie Estella Dixon.
Edith worked in construction. She was a member of Saint John Missionary Baptist Church. Edith loved cooking, playing cards, and playing softball.
Edith Nell Dixon Weatherspoon departed this life on December 25, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 69 years, 8 months, and 18 days.
She is survived by her sons, Toyce Dixon of Florence, Alabama, Jordan Weatherspoon of Savannah, Tennessee, and Terrance Arnold of Henderson, Tennessee; God daughters, Net Davis of Savannah, Tennessee, Cindy Davis of Savannah, Tennessee, Adrian Benton of Murray Kentucky, and Regina Taylor of Savannah, Tennessee; God sons, Reggie Taylor of Savannah, Tennessee and Mike Lowery of Corinth, Mississippi; grandchildren, Kion Dixon, Khelea Weatherspoon, Kelsey Muse, Zee Davis, Jaden Dixon, Talayeah Arnold, Kelsey Dixon, Rosie Davis, Khaylee Weatherspoon, Tamar Arnold, Zalen Davis, Keyera Davis, Buddy Davis, Kobe Davis, Drelynn Dixon, and Kelynn Dixon; great grandchildren, Tamiya Jay-Lynn Arnold; step-daughter, Shana Toliver of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; step-sons, Dontillos Toliver of Murfreesboro, Tennessee and Julius Toliver of South Bend Indiana; and step-grandchildren, Jerimiah Toliver, Shaq Oiagne, Nehemiah Powe, and Zola Toliver.
In addition to her parents, Edith was preceded in death by her daughters, Kiawasha Weatherspoon and Kizi Davis; and son Juan Dixon.
