Edith C. White

Mrs. Edith Christine Fielder White departed this life on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at Helen Keller Hospital in Sheffield, Alabama at the age of 83 Years, 7 Months, 24 Days. She was born March 7, 1934 in Lutts, TN the daughter of the late C.H. and Earline Bevis Fielder.

She was united in marriage to J.C. White on March 8, 1952.

Mrs. White was retired from El Rancho Furniture . She was a member of the Stateline Church of Christ and Hwy 69 VFD

She is survived by her husband J.C. White, Lutts, TN., sons, Donnie White, Hornlake, MS, Johnny White, Florence, AL, Bobby White, wife Tracy, daughter, Cindy Smith all of Lutts, TN., grandchildren, Christy Davis, Eric White, Katie White, Kevin Smith, Jessie White, Kayla Covington, great grandchildren, Dalton Davis, Payton Davis, Makayla Wilkerson, Brycen Wilkerson, Allison Hays and Trevor Covington, sister, Charlene Hatchett, Lutts, TN.

In addition to her parents, Mrs White was preceded in death by brothers, Johnny Fielder and James Fielder.

Services will be held on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral chapel in Collinwood, Tennessee, with David Dowdy officiating. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery, Lutts, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Friday, November 3, 6:00-9:00 pm and on Saturday, November 4, 11:00 am until service time.
