Edna Mae Griffin

Edna Mae Griffin age 97 of Selmer, TN was born September 11, 1919 in McNairy County, TN, the daughter of the late Abbie Lee and Dasiy Mae Evans Taylor. She retired from General Electric. She enjoyed gardening, canning, flowers, making baby dolls, quilting and loved her family. Mrs. Griffin departed this life on December 21, 2016 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 97 Years, 3 Months, 10 Days.

She is survived by three daughters: Geneva Moore and husband Ray of Adamsville, TN, Betty Parsons and husband Larry of Selmer, TN, Geraldine McEwen of Corinth, MS; a daugther-in-law, Emily Keen; a sister, Marguerite Michael of Birmingham, AL; a brother, J. B. Taylor of Beaufort, SC; sixteen grandchildren: Wanda Henley, Judy Crawford, Jerry Keen all of IN, Tina Goodman of SC, Stanley Wilson of Olive Branch, MS, Wade Cornelius of Knoxville, TN, Donna King of Jackson, TN, Larry Murry of Stantonville, TN, Beau Keen of Selmer, TN, Cecil Ray Keen Jr., Danny Keen, Gene Keen, Joseph Keen all of MI, Shelly Vanderford, Lana McEwen, and Audrey McEwen all of Corinth, MS; 19 Great Grandchildren; and numerous great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Mrs Griffin was preceded in death by her first husband, Gilbert Keen; second husband, George Griffin; four sons; William Travis, Gilbert, Cecil Ray and Danny Lee Keen; two daughter-in-laws, Verdie Keen and Dorothy Keen; a son-in-law, Jerry McEwen; two sisters, Jeneive Bagley and Tommy Jean Dickey; a brother, Wilford Taylor; a grandchild, James Shelton Jr.
