EDWARD LEE FRAZIER
was born on October 30, 1930, the son of the late Josie Perry Frazier and Buster Hugh Frazier. He departed this life on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the age of 87 years, 1 month and 9 days.
In 1950, Edward was married to Kathleen Arnold, who survives.
On July 19, 1974, he married Robbie Smith Sweat, who preceded him in death on April 14, 2015.
Edward was a certified GMC Technician and worked for Emmett Yeiser Chevrolet and Gene Crump Chevrolet in Sheffield, Alabama. Napa Auto Parts was his last place of employment before retiring.
He loved playing his guitar, singing and entertaining folks. Horses, mules, antiques, buggies, and collecting and restoring old farm equipment were hobbies of his also.
Edward is survived by one daughter from his first marriage, Kathy E. Bain and husband Howard of Savannah, Tennessee; two grandchildren, Clint Bain (Calli) of Culleoka, Tennessee and Heather Bain Brandt (Alan) of Lanesville, Indiana; four great grandchildren, Ligia, Ervin, Colin and Dara Brandt, all of Lanesville, Indiana; five siblings, Christene Vickery of Lawrenceburg, Tennessee, Mary Helen Franks of Savannah, Tennessee, Willie Ellen Kilburn of Adamsville, Tennessee, Melvin Frazier of Iron City, Tennessee and Anthony Frazier of Savannah, Tennessee.
He was privileged to help raise numerous children throughout the years. One, dear to his heart, was Brooke Sweat and he treasured her.
In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by four siblings, C. R. Frazier, Granville Frazier, Laura Jean Hinton and Mildred Vandiver and an infant brother, Grady Frazier.
