Edward Franklin George was born August 21, 1936 in Michie, TN, the son of the late Willie Edgar George and Mary Magdaline Presley George.
Mr. George was united in marriage to Eva Nell Stutts on November 3, 1962. He worked at General Electric and also for Fruehauf Corporation for 30 years. He was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. He enjoyed studying his bible, gardening and attending antique car shows.
Mr. George departed this life on November 11, 2020 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 84 Years, 2 Months, 21 Days.
He is survived by his wife, Eva Nell George of Adamsville, TN; sister, Earlene Baker of Taylor, MI; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: Ray V. and Cinda Stutts of Michie, TN, Audine Rickman of Michie, TN, Millie Yates of Cape Girardeau, MO; and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Mr. George was preceded in death by two sisters, Joyce George Baker and Mary Ruth George Baker; two brothers, Kenneth O'Neal George and Willie Howell George; in-laws: Laura May Frosinotes, Laiford D. Stutts, Wilma Ruth Lewis, Billy Eugene Stutts, Louise Stutts Hively and Earnestine Stutts Graves.
