Mr. Phillips died Friday, April 18 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
The husband of Tommy McNeal Phillips, who died in 1958, he was a retired brick mason. He was born to John and Patsy Lee Goodman Phillips and lived most of his life in Hardeman County.
Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Bennard of Brownsville and Nancy Adams of Bolivar; a son, Billy Wayne of Whiteville; a sister, Pat Rush of Atlanta, GA; and grandson, Phlllip Bishop and a great grandson, William Edward Bishop.
