Edward Sewell Ward Jr. (Okeechobee 5) was born April 14, 1957 in Stuart, FL the son of the late Edward Sewell and Ruth Padgett Ward. Other than his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Harris. Mr. Ward died Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at his home on South Forty-eight Creek Road near Waynesboro at the age of 55 Years, 1 Month, 9 Days. While living in Florida he was a forest area supervisor for the Florida Division of Forestry retiring after 26 years. He also served in the U.S. Army in the 82nd Airborne Division.
He is survived by his wife of 19 years Holly Malloy Ward, a son, Joshua Edward Ward, daughter, Emilee Ward all of Waynesboro, TN; a brother, Alfred Ward of Gordon, GA; two sisters, Ethel Harrison of Milton, FL, and Charlotte Pendarvis of Palm City, FL; several aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A private memorial service will be held at a later time.
