Effie Leigh Richardson

Effie Leigh Richardson was born December 17, 1928 in Deport, TX, the daughter of the late Carl and Zula Baker Gresham.

Mrs. Richardson was a member of Tate Baptist Church in Corinth, MS. She retired from the Corinth City School System. She enjoyed her Bunco and Bridge Clubs. Most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Mrs. Richardson departed this life on September 12, 2015 in Corinth, Mississippi at the age of 86 Years, 8 Months, 26 Days.

She is survived by a son, Steve Richardson and wife Fran of Corinth, MS; four grandchildren: Lucas Richardson of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jon Richardson and wife Amanda of Corinth, MS, Tyler Richardson and friend Chelsea Robbins of Corinth, MS, Dana Jones and husband Brandon of Walnut, MS; two great grandchildren, Harlee and Tucker Jones; two sisters, Sue Hockaday of Selmer, TN and Winnie Osborn and husband Ray of Ramer, TN; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her and parents, Mrs. Richardson was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Richardson; a daughter, Angie Richardson; a grandchild, Mikey Robbins; and a brother, G.B. Gresham.
