Elbertene Gray

Elbertene Gray was born April 22, 1935 in Adamsville, TN, the daughter of the late Willie and Lena Lain Smith. She was united in marriage to Bobby Ray Gray on July 25, 1951. Mr. Gray preceded her in death on June 22, 1975.She was a member of the Landmark Pentecostal Church in Stantonville, TN. Elbertene over the years worked for Farber Bro. Manufacturing Company, Harwood Manufacturing Company and retired from Parrish Manufacturing Company. She enjoyed working in her garden and yard. More than anything, Elbertene loved playing with and rocking her grand kids. She departed this life on March 13, 2017 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 10 Months, 19 Days.

Mrs. Gray is survived by a daughter, Tammy Gray of Adamsville, TN; a son, Danny Gray of Adamsville, TN; two sisters; Brenda Scott and husband Dee of Stantonville, TN, Kay Young and husband Raymond of Stantonville, TN; a brother, Billy Smith of Adamsville, TN; two grandchildren, Ashley Kiddy and husband Michael of Corinth, MS, Charlotte Brewer and husband Bucky of Adamsville, TN; four great grandchildren: Kylie Kiddy, Kendell Kiddy both of Corinth, MS, Dartanian Brewer, Swayze Brewer both of Adamsville, TN; a special friend, Raven Clark of Adamsville, TN; and a host of other relatives and friends.

In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Gray was preceded in death by a sister, Avanell Grant; four brothers: Jackie Smith, Maynard Lee Smith, Donald (Pete) Smith and Gary Smith.
