Mrs. Gale, 94, of Winter Haven, FL passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at her residence.
Born in Whiteville to Alvin Carnell and Beulah Aileen Little Sammons, she moved to Florida in 2000.
Preceded in death by her husband Donald Gale, Sr. in 2009, she is survived by: three sons, Dr. Donald Gale, Jr. and his wife, Beverly, of Celebration, FL, Dr. John Gale and his wife, Pamela, of Golden, CO, and Dr. Timothy Gale and his wife, Laura, of Flowery Branch, GA; a sister, Linda Cross of Bolivar; nine grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded by sisters, Juanita McGarrh, Dorothy Holtzschue, Sue Nell Gross and Rebecca Bomar; and brother, John W. Sammons
