Elizabeth Elaine Lewis

Elizabeth Elaine Lewis passed peacefully on October 13, 2024, with her son Sammy Arnold Jr. by her side. Elaine was born January 27, 1940, in Florence, Alabama, to Louis and Nora Prestridge. Elaine was a life-long fan of Miller Lite and traveling to La Paz, Mexico with her husband Gene. She was a delight to her friends and family, always willing to bake you something and tell a story about the good ole days at the clubhouse. Elaine attended the Popular Springs Free Will Baptist Church. There was nothing Elaine enjoyed more than taking her family and friends to a good Mexican restaurant for chips and dip, particularly her close friend Ruby. 

Elaine is preceded in death by her parents Louis and Nora Prestridge, siblings Brandon Prestridge and Marie Davis, beloved daughter Tammy Darlene Garrison, and grandson Joey Wayne Hayes. 

She will be remembered fondly by her surviving family members, son Sammy W. Arnold Jr., her granddaughter Laura Arnold, her grandson Chris Arnold (Lisa), great grandchildren Lucas, Lily, Kaden, and Chloe Arnold; son-in-law Roger Lee Garrison, grandson Corey Garrison (Samantha), great grandchildren Emma and Holden Garrison, grandson Kyle Garrison (Kaitlyn), great grandchildren Hunter and Alaina Garrison.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you would consider donating to the survivors of Hurricane Helene in Elaine's name.
