Elizabeth Malone

Jackson, TN: Elizabeth Massey Malone, age 78 passed away May 9, 2012 at Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga, TN.She was born near Scotts Hill, TN, Henderson County, the daughter of the late Ben Andrew and Lessie Lena Wallace Massey. She graduated from Chester County High School in 1953 and graduated West Tennessee Business College and married Charles Malone in 1959. They made their home in South Jackson most of their married life. She worked for The Jackson Clinic from 1953 until 1959 and later worked for Toshiba and later DeVibliss until she retired. Mr. Malone worked most of his career for Wonder Bread and Hostess Cake.She loved to antique shop and work in her flower garden. She was a member of the South Jackson Church of Christ.She is survived by her husband, Charles Malone of Jackson; a daughter, Karen Annett Malone of Jackson; two grandchildren, Angela Pace and Kristen Acred and two great grandchildren; Mattie Pace and Charlie Pace; and a sister, Louise Pierce of Georgetown,TN.She was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Sharon Ann Malone Acred in 1996 and two brothers, Frank Massey and Ben Massey, Jr. and two sisters, Frances McBroom and Clara Murley.
