Elizabeth Elaine Stovall of Selmer, TN was born March 31, 1929 in Booneville, MS the daughter of the late Pluma J. Holley and Zuma Gertrude Barker Holley. She departed this life on May 26, 2017 in Memphis, TN at the age of 88 Years, 1 Month, 26 Days.
Mrs. Stovall worked for the Tennessee Commission on Aging and Disability as an Advocate to the Governor. She previously was a Teacher at the McNairy County Developmental Center. She continued her education later in life at age 72 and received her Masters Degree in 2006 from the University of Memphis. Mrs. Stovall was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Selmer.
She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Jean Stovall of Selmer, TN, Denise W. King of Pocahontas, TN; four grandchildren, Charles Caudle, III, Elizabeth Caudle, Jimmy Nelson, Jesse Nelson; 11 great grandchildren; two sisters, Janice Stovall of Bartlett, TN, Barbara Louise Holley of Bartlett, TN; a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Stovall was preceded in death in 1981 by her husband, James L. Stovall; a sister, Willadean Morrow; three brothers, Hershel Wright Holley, Bobby Holley, Jacky Holley.
