Ella J. Bynum Hudspeth

Mrs. Hudspeth,109, departed this life on September 7, 2009 at Pine Meadows Healthcare Center. She was born February 22, 1900 in Tippah County in the Hamilton Community, Mississippi. Services will be held on September 10, 2009 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors of Bolivar in with Charles Frost officiating. Burial will follow in the Hopewell Cemetery at Saulsbury.



The daughter of the late Edward and Henie Pegram, she was a native of Tippah County, Mississippi, Mrs. Hudspeth lived in Memphis for 20 years. She worked for White Rose Laundry in Memphis for 12 years before retiring and moving to Bolivar in 1974. She was the oldest member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy.



Survivors include three grandchildren, Carlotta Stapleton of Cumming, GA; Terry Sellari of Perry, FL; and Jerry Sellari of Maui, Hawaii; 7 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her mother and father, she is preceded in death by a daughter Dorothy Bynum Sellari.
