Ellen Hannah Harding

Ellen H. Tonne Harding of Waynesboro, TN was born August 11, 1920 in Trenton, N.J. the daughter of the late Eli M. Tonne and Ethel Mae Haas Tonne. Mrs. Harding departed this life on May 8, 2016 at Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitation Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 95 Years, 8 Months, 27 Days. She was married to Leo Robert Harding April 11, 1935 and he preceded her in death October 18, 1986. Earlier in life Mrs. Ellen worked for General Motors during World War II as a supervisor for airplane manufacturing and was a "Rosey the Rivitor". Prior to relocating to Waynesboro, she had lived in Trenton and Stockton, New Jersey, and Miami, Florida. Mrs. Harding, a homemaker, was a member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church and American Legion Auxiliary.

She is survived by ten grandchildren, Bette Spellerberg and husband Craig, Robert Bauman, Donna Jacobs, Carl Bauman, Bruce Stieger and wife Amanda, Theodore Bauman and wife Alisha, Michelle Byriel and her boyfriend Tim Dafcik, Brian Bauman, Troy Byriel and wife Leslie, Jennifer Murray and husband Cory, 12 great grandchildren and 11 great great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Harding was preceded in death by two daughters, Bette Jane Bauman and Patricia Ann Byriel, and 1 great grandchild.
