Ellen Faye Hunter, age 62, of Middleton, departed this life on Tuesday morning February 16, 2010 at her home.
She was born on October 21, 1947 to the late Joseph and Mary Ellen Denton Boykin in Wilson, NC and was raised in Whiteville, Tennessee. She married Willie A. "Bill" Hunter on May 12, 1966 and was a retired clerk from Western Mental Health Institute. Mrs. Hunter was a member of 40 Forks Baptist Church at Bethel Springs.
In addition to her husband, she leaves two daughters, Maria Brooks of Selmer and Sherri Lynn Hunter of Middleton; one sister, Susan Wech of Henderson; two brothers and their wives, Kemp and Shirley Boykin of Collierville and Tommy and Barbara Boykin of Oakland; one grandson, David Brooks of Selmer; several nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and great nephews. She had a close relationship with the Hunter family.
