Ellen Laverne Landers

Ellen Laverne Holder Landers was born August 20, 1942 in Waynesboro, TN the daughter of the late Carval and Ellie Inez Turnbo Holder.

She was united in marriage to Charlie Robert Landers on August 31, 1960.

Mrs. Landers was a Assembly Line worker at Lincoln Brass Co. and a cook at Little Charlie's Resturant in Waynesboro. She was a member of the Calvary Baptist Church.

Mrs. Landers departed this life on July 11, 2015 at her home in Waynesboro, TN at the age of 72 Years, 10 Months, 21 Days.

She is survived by two daughters, Sybil Annette Landers ,Lori Gough and husband Eric of Waynesboro, TN; a sister, Helen and husband Bobby Hanback of Decatur, AL; Grandchildren Charles Zachary and Stephen Kyle Morgan of Waynesboro, Toni Hollaway of Waterloo AL, Blaine and Preslee Ray of Waynesboro TN, Preston, Ethan, Evan Gough of Waynesboro TN, five great grandchildren, Grayson Ray and Madison Landers of Waynesboro, TN, Peyton Holloway of Waterloo AL, Addy Grace Morgan of Waynesboro TN and Shiloh Marie Trower of Murfreesboro, TN.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Landers was preceded in death by two sons, Tony and Jeffery Landers; a grandchild, Johnathon Landers; and three aunts Etta Turnbo Green, Bonnie Turnbo Brown and Cora Turnbo Goodman.

Services will be held on July 13, 2015 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Directors at Waynesboro in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Casey Jones officiating. Burial will follow in the Greenwood Cemetery at Waynesboro, Tennessee
