He was born and reared in the Hickory Corner Commuity, of Chester County, the son of the late Ellis Eugene McNeil, Sr. and Katie Louise Rowland McNeil. He farmed and made his home in the Montezuma Community of Chester County.
He is survived by two daughters, Kathy Geary (Mark) and Teresa Bishop (Dannon); a sister, Dorothy Marie Plunk (Harold) and 6 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a son, Garry Wayne McNeil in 1977.
