Elnora Pearl Miller was born Feburary 10, 1912, in Chester County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Oley Harris and Ida Mae Patterson Stovall.
She was united in marriage to Huey Virgil "Poorboy" Miller on July 14, 1929. Mr. Miller preceded her in death on May 19, 2000. To this union were born three children, Conan Ramelle, Ivy Jewell, and Ronald Huey.
Mrs. Miller was a homemaker and spent many years of her life raising her three children, tending to numerous grandchildren, and seeing after the many small animals she came to love during her life. Besides having a wonderful mothering instinct, she was known by her family for her great cooking, especially her beef-hash. She also loved to read, be out doors, and watch the birds feed.
Mrs. Miller was a lifelong Christian and member of the Refuge Church of Christ, but had attended the Bethel Springs Church of Christ with her family for a short time.
On April 19, 2011, Mrs. Miller departed this life at home in Finger, Tennessee, at the age of 99 Years, 2 Months, 9 Days. She is survived by her two daughters: Ramelle Hardin and husband John, and Jewell Frye and husband Bill, all of Finger, Tennessee; one son: Ronald Miller and wife Naomi of Selmer, Tennessee; seven grandchildren: Linda Gilliand, Laurel Vigil, Keith Hardin, Tracy Hardin, Steve Frye, Cody Blue Miller, and Sarah Grace Miller; eight great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two great-great-great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Miller was precceded in death by two sisters, Floraine Stovall Owens and Ora Stovall Crews, three brothers, Woodrow Stovall, Seaman Stovall, and Carl Stovall, and one great-granddaughter, Kimberly Anne Bizzell.
