Elvis Lee Brown

Mr. Elvis Lee Brown, Sr. departed this life on Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at Waynesboro Health and Rehabilitations Center in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 1 Month, 27 Days. He was born January 16, 1929 in Wayne County, TN the son of the late Robert Webb and Vera Beckham Brown. In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was preceded in death by brothers, Robert Webb Brown Jr., Cecil Edward Brown.

He was united in marriage to Mary Ann Woods on June 26, 1953

Mr. Brown was a factory worker for 40 years with Genesco . He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Waynesboro, Tennessee.

He is survived by his wife Mary Ann (Woods) Brown of Waynesboro, TN. sons, Elvis Lee Brown Jr. and wife Terry of Tullahoma, TN, Myron Lane Brown and wife Vicky of Enterprise, AL, daughters, Shirley Diane Brown of Waynesboro , Connie Frances Patterson and husband Bobby of Collinwood, TN, 6 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, sister, Cordie Ellen Pulley of Waynesboro, TN, nieces and nephews.

Services will be held on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with H.H. Hurst, Keith Cagle officiating. Burial will follow in Memorial Gardens , Waynesboro, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangements.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 21, 11:00 am until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Waynesboro, TN.
