Services for Emanola E. Combhs, age 88, of Waynesboro will be Tuesday, August 10, 2010 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Chapel in Waynesboro with Paul Inman officiating. Graveside service and interment will be 11:00 AM Thursday, August 12, 2010 in Glen Cemetry at Paxton, Illinois. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County is in charge of arrangements.A native of Wayne County, she was born November 5, 1921, a daughter of the late Mack and Willie Omega Wilbanks Pulley. In addition to her parents, Mrs Combs was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Combs; daughter, Glenda Herglund; a son, Joe Edward Combs; brother, Talmadge Pulley; and a sister, Hettie Devers. Mrs. Combs departed this life Friday, August 6, 2010 at her home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 88 Years, 9 Months, 1 Day. She was a homemaker, former nurses aide, and waitress.She is survived by a son, James A. Combs of Waynesboro, TN; two daughters, Patricia A. Davis of Waynesboro, TN and Sandra Y. Henderson of Mason, IL; 7 grandsons, 2 granddaughters, and 10 great-grandchildrena brother, Thomas Pulley and a sister, Ocie Burns both of Waynesboro, TN.
