EMMA LEE DAVIDSON
was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on April 8, 1933 the daughter of the late William Ospy and Dora Lee Cummings Harville.
Ms. Davidson was a homemaker and worked for Garan Manufacturing for 15 years. She was a member of Turkey Creek Union Church. Ms. Davidson enjoyed singing, quilting, cooking and going to yard sales. She enjoyed raising her grandchildren and helping with other children in the community.
Ms. Davidson departed this life on December 10, 2008 at Park Rest Nursing Home in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 75 years, 8 months and 2 days.
She is survived by her former husband Hardy Davidson of Savannah, Tennessee.
2 daughters, Janice Hopper Ward and Midge Hughes and her husband Mike, all of Savannah, Tennessee
one son, James Earl Hopper of Savannah, Tennessee
7 grandchildren, Michelle Hopper Thompson, Angela Hopper Pilkinton, Sarina Johnson, Landon Briley, Michael Briley, James Earl Hopper, Jr. and Danny Dewayne Hopper
7 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren
one sister, Mary W. Worley of Sikeston, Missouri and one brother, Bobby Harville of Savannah, Tennessee
Other than her parents, Ms. Davidson was also preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Carroll Hopper and one son, William Danny Hopper, 2 brothers, Hobert Ancil Harville and Reese Harville and 2 infant brothers.
