Emma Lois Melson Morris

EMMA LOIS MELSON MORRISwas born March 22, 1933 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late George Lawrence and Emma Morris Hickerson.On March 30, 1949 she was united in marriage to Thomas Melson who preceded her in death on October 3, 1982. Later she married Donald Morris on April 15, 1983.Mrs. Morris was a Homemaker. She was a member of Trinity Full Gospel Church.She departed from this life February 16, 2010 at the Hardin Medical Center, the age of 76 years, 10 months, and 14 days.Mrs. Morris leaves other than her husband Donald Ray Morris of Savannah, Tennessee.4 daughters - Cathy Oliver and her husband Larry , Elizabeth Kiddy, Carolyn Murphy and her husband Lonnie and Wanda Grimes and her husband Tommy all of Savannah, Tennessee.4 sons - Dennis Lee Melson, Ripley, Mississippi, James Ricky Melson, Savannah, Tennessee, Donnie Bruce Melson, Shiloh, Tennessee, and Bradley Tim Morris, Savannah, Tennessee.19 grandchildren and 35 great grandchildren.2 sisters - Edna Hill and Emma Petty both of Waynesboro, Tennessee.She was preceded in death by a daughter, Connie Evelyn Mills, 2 grandchildren, Brian Eddie Oliver and Joshua Brady, one sister Frances Crumpton and a brother, Willie Arthur Hickerson.
