Services will be held on Sunday, August 26, 2012 at 3:00 PM at Shackelford Funeral Home in Collinwood, Tennessee, with Chad Balentine officiating. Burial will follow in McGlamery Cemetery ,Collinwood, Tennessee with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of the arrangments.
Visitation will be on Saturday, August 25, 5:30--9:00 pm/ Sunday, August 26, 12:00 noon until service time @ Shackelford Funeral Home, Collinwood.

Mrs. Emma Jeanette Brewer Overton departed this life on Friday, August 24, 2012 at Wayne Care Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 4 Months, 27 Days. She was born March 28, 1930 in Wayne County, the daughter of the late Dallas and Beulah Pue Brewer. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Overton was preceded in death by husband; Don Robert Overton on April 8, 2002; brothers, Wash Brewer, Lincoln Brewer, Dexter Brewer, Tot Brewer and Mitchell Brewer; sisters, Addie (Brewer) Parker and Maulene (Brewer) Hill;
Mrs. Overton was a housekeeping for Wayne County General Hosptial and a member of Memorial Baptist Church.
She is survived by son, Donnie David Overton; granddaughter, April (Overton) Plunkett; great grandchildren; D.J. and Jaxx Plunkett all of Linden, TN
