Emma Marie Richards

Emma Marie McClain Richards was born October 15, 1933 in McNairy County, Tennessee the daughter of the late Bruce E. and Emma W. Watson McClain.She was united in marriage to Herbert Richards in June of 1951. Mrs. Richards was a retired book keeper with John A. Dennys Barnett Construction. She was a member of the Colonial Baptist Church in Memphis, Tennessee and a member of Women's in Construction (WIC).Mrs. Richards departed this life on August 30, 2010 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 76 Years, 10 Months, 15 Days. She is survived by a daughter, Pamela Victor of Olive Branch, MS; three grandchildren, Natalie, Richae, and Paul III; grandson-in-law, Troy Jr.; four great grandchildren, Troy III, Brittany, Tyler, and Abahgail; a sister, Evelyn Sanders of Selmer, TN; a brother, Uthel Ashe and wife Nora Mae of Selmer, TN.In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Richards was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Ashe and wife Mable Ashe; brother-in-law, Gary Sanders.
