Emma Lou Shutt

EMMA LOU SHUTTwas born in Hardin County, Tennessee on May 2, 1930 the daughter of the late Richard Floyd and Alma Obed Morris Thompson.She was united in marriage to Charlie L. Shutt, who preceded his wife in death on August 10, 2003. Mrs. Shutt was a homemaker and was a member of Saltillo Church of Christ. She was very active in fundraising for Cystic Fibrosis. Mrs. Shutt loved to crochet, collector of various items and she loved to read.She departed this life on January 27, 2010 at the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 79 years, 8 months and 25 days.Mrs. Shutt is survived by one daughter, Sonya Lou Ferrell of Saltillo, Tennessee and one son, Tommy Lafayette Shutt of Paulsbo, Washington5 grandchildren, Brandie Shutt, Kenny Shutt, Joshua Ferrell, Holly Ferrell and Heather Ferrell3 great-grandchildren, Abby Harlow, Alex Harlow and Charlee FerrellIn addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by 2 sons, Ronald Shutt and David Shutt, one sister, Odessa Alexander and 2 brothers, Lanois Thompson and Wayne Thompson
