Emma Snodgrass

August 15, 1913 — July 19, 2011

Emma Smith Snodgrass 97 of Savannah, Tennessee, loving wife, mother and homemaker died of heart failure Tuesday July 19th at Ashton Place Rehabilitation Center in Memphis, TN. Mrs. Snodgrass was a loyal member of New Life Pentecostal Church for more than 60 years. She was employed with the North Elementary School where she was a baker in the cafeteria. Mrs. Snodgrass, the wife of A. E. \"Buster\" Snodgrass for over 65 years, who preceded her in death on December 31, 1997, also leaves two daughters, Nadine Christian of Fort Worth, Texas, and Dot Snodgrass of Memphis; a son Larry Snodgrass of Savannah; a sister Betty Tomlinson of Adamsville; a brother Ace Smith of Sardis, Mississippi; seven grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren. Mrs. Snodgrass was also preceded in death by 3 sisters, Edna Ponds, Hazel Turnbow and Gurt Bonee and 3 brothers, Hershel, Bill and Short Smith.
