ERA MAE KELLEY TALBERT
Enville, TN: Era Mae Kelley Talbert, age 92, passed away August 27, 2010 at Tri-County Healthcare in Adamsville.
She was born and reared in the Hopewell Community, of Chester County the daughter of the late Jasper Alvin and Cricket Bailey Kelley. She attended schools at Oak Grove and was married to William Floyd Talbert of the Enville Community in 1941. She was employed by Salant & Salant Mfg., Adamsville Shirt Factory and MKD Mfg. in Enville and retired in 1978. Mr. Talbert died in 1999. She continued to make her home at Sweetlips and attended Sweetlips Baptist Church until she moved to Morris Chapel to make her home near Mitzi. She was a member of the Enville Baptist Church.
She is survived by three daughters; Patsy Bias and husband Bobby, Barbara Pitts and husband Steve all of Adamsville and Mitzi Ratliff and husband Buddy of Morris Chapel; four grandchildren, Amanda Freeman of Enville, Lachelle Gray of Adamsville, Kelli Pitts Grisham of Adamsville and Nick Ratliff of Morris Chapel and three great-grandchildren, Josh and Justin Treece of Enville and Campbell Grisham of Adamsville; a brother, James Kelley of Henderson; four sisters, Edna Mitchell of Henderson, Ora Lee Barham of Finger, Rachel Seeley and Mary Harris both of Henderson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Floyd Talbert in 1999, a brother Joe Kelley in 1999 and a half sister, Wilma Blankenship.
