Mr. Eric Lamar Glover, born on September 1, 1935, in the Gilchrist Community of Adamsville, TN, peacefully departed this life on March 7, 2024, in Adamsville, Tennessee. He was aged 88 Years, 6 Months, and 6 Days.

Mr. Glover faced early hardships with the passing of his parents when he was a young boy. He found solace and guidance in the loving care of his cherished sister, Durell "Susie" Moffett, and her husband Jim.

On May 21, 1958, he joined in matrimony with Ivy Butone Hughes. Mrs. Glover preceded him in death on August 20, 1998.

Throughout his life, Mr. Glover dedicated himself to his work. He spent thirty years in the shipping department at Garan and U.S. Apparel and later became the proud owner of Little O's BBQ in Adamsville, TN - renowned for his mouthwatering BBQ. His dedication led him to retire from the City of Adamsville Utility Division.

An active member of Meeks Grove Freewill Baptist Church and Calvary Baptist Church, Mr. Glover held a deep love for the Lord and cherished his church family. He was a proud member of Cherokee Nation - Tennessee (Tanasi Council).

Outside of work and church commitments, Mr. Glover found joy in unwinding as a devoted St. Louis Cardinals fan and collector. He also enjoyed leisure time playing dominoes and creating lasting memories with his family.

Left to cherish his memory are his two sons: Kerry Stevens (Malea) of Michie, TN; Daniel Glover (Stephen) of Corinth, MS; two daughters: Pamela Young (Jimmy John) of Adamsville, TN; Suzanne Milford (Jeff) of Gassville, AR;  four grandchildren: Kelcy Milford, Katie Webber (Philip), Kerry Stevens Jr., Amanda Papas (Teddy); three great-grandchildren: Jaiden Ivy Anne Webber, Jeffery Wymon James Webber, and London Nova Rowe; as well as numerous extended family members and friends.

In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Glover was preceded by two brothers: George Arthur Glover; William Cartel Glover; five sisters: Dorothy Durell Moffett; Vivian Glover; Laverne Agee; Joy Mitchell; Rebecca Glover; nephews, Oneal Moffett, Randy Moffett; niece Linda Nelson.

The family expresses their heartfelt gratitude to the caregivers at Adamsville Healthcare and Legacy Hospice for their compassion and care towards Mr. Glover during his final days - their kindness will always be remembered fondly by the family.
