Ernest Williams

Ernest Williams was born on February 4, 1955 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the son of the late At and Marie Scott Williams.

On April 6, 1973, he was united in marriage to Anna Benson, who survives.

Ernest worked as a truck driver for Ingles Sawmill. He enjoyed working on vehicles and spending time with his family and friends.

Ernest Williams departed this life on February 18, 2023 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 68 years and 14 days.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Anna Williams of Savannah, Tennessee; sons, Steven Williams and James Williams; daughter, Patricia Hill and her husband Kevin; daughters in law, Marcha Williams and Crystal Rayburn; sisters, Effie Carroll, Cindy Benson, and Connie Word; grandchildren, Timothy, Chevy, Kenslee, Riley, Leslie, James, and Christopher; great grandchildren, Harper, Chloe, and Hazel; and a great grandchild on the way, Chase, due in April.

In addition to his parents, Ernest was preceded in death by his sons, Ernest Lynn Williams and Timothy Lee Williams; brothers, Leon Williams and Ricky Williams; sisters, Bev Hunt and Linda Hunt; and daughter in law, Carol Wilson.
