Estelle Chandler

Estelle Upton Chandler passed away on Sunday, January 24, 2010 in Hendersonville, TN at the age of 91. Mrs. Chandler grew up in the Mercer area, lived most of her life in Whiteville and moved to Hendersonville in 2004 to be near her daughter.
Preceded in death by her parents Charles Lee and Nannie Laney Upton she was the last of twelve children. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dorsey D. Chandler, Sr.
Mrs. Chandler was head of a five generation family. She leaves behind daughter: Barbara (Noel) Loper; sons: Dorsey D. Chandler, Jr., William (Holly Gwin) Chandler, Donald (Debbie) Chandler; grandchildren: Michelle (Bob) Freudenthal, Jennifer (Joey) Hunnicutt, Allison Hobbs, Cameron Chandler, and Dorian Holder; great-grandchilden: Bobby Freudenthal, Jr., Jonathan Freudenthal, Kristin Freudenthal, Sydney Hobbs, Cody Hunnicutt, Jacob Hobbs; and a great-great grandchild, Shianne Snow.
Pallbearers will include sons-in-law, grandsons, great grandsons and other family members. Honorary pallbearers will include Kristin Freudenthal, Sydney Hobbs and Cody Hunnicutt.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to American Heart Association, UNICEF, or First Baptist Church, 203 E Main St., Whiteville, TN 38075.
