Ethel Mae Greer of Michie, TN was born November 28, 1940 in Senatobia, MS the daughter of the late Ira and Irene Brown. Mrs. Greer departed this life on September 5, 2018 at the McNairy County Health Care Center in Selmer, TN at the age of 77 Years, 11 Months, 8 Days. She was the widow of Clifton Greer.
Mrs. Greer enjoyed spending time with her family, gardening, tending her flower beds, fishing, cooking, quilting, among other things to stay busy.
She is survived by two daughters, Debbie Price and Eva Armstrong, both of Selmer, TN; four sons, Woodrow Greer and Clifton Greer, both of Memphis, TN, Robert Greer of Springhill, FL, Michael Greer of Selmer; fourteen grandchildren, Kassie Greer, Adam Greer, Joseph Greer, Lisa Soto, Laura Carroll, Dusty McRae, Fawn Price, Robert Cody Greer, Matthew Armstrong, Jennifer Kennedy, Sean Armstrong, Daryl Burgess, Steven Burgess, Brian Greer; 22 great-grandchildren; five siblings, Diane, Debra, Kathy, Earl, and Ricky along with a host of extended family and friends.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Greer was preceded in death by siblings Carolyn, Tinny, Blanche, Bobby, George, Johnny, and Barney.
A Celebration Of Life service will be held at a later date.
