Ethel Mae Irvin was born August 11, 1927 in Hardin County, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Robert White and Rosie Thornton White.She was united in marriage to Thomas Irvin, Jr. on June 15, 1945.Mrs. Irvin worked at many different jobs during her life. She was a member of the Love Tabernacle Church of God in Christ in Savannah, Tennessee where she served as president of the choir. She enjoyed playing the piano, church, gardening, flowers and was very family oriented.Mrs.Irvin departed this life on February 25, 2010 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 82 Years, 6 Months, 14 Days. She is survived by her husband Thomas Irvin, Jr. of Savannah, TN; two sons, Edwin C. Irvin of Savannah, TN, Joel V. Irvin of Savannah, TN; a sister, Bobbie Jean Thompson of Savannah, TN; four grandchildren, Jemira Irvin, Larry Goodlow, Latasha Irvin, and Tara Irvin; 4 great grandchildren; and two special aunts, Mable Sevier and Wilma Bumpus.In addition to her parents, Mrs.Irvin was preceded in death by a son, Larry V. Irvin and a brother, Henderson Hawkins, Sr.
