Ethel Marie Russell

Services for Ethel Marie (Big Mama) Caperton Russell, age 73, of Collinwood will be Monday, October 4, 2010 at 3:00 PM at hackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Collinwood with Josh Stults and John Hodum officiating. Burial will follow in the Railroad Cemetery with Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County in charge of arrangements.



Pallbearers are Mark Pitts, Chris Pitts, Steven Wright, Daniel Caperton,

Cody Clay, and Barry Carroll



She was born August 8, 1937 on Holly Creek in Wayne County, the daughter of the late Melvin David and Mary Ella Scott Caperton. Mrs. Russell died Friday, October 1, 2010 at Perry County Hospital in Linden, Tennessee.

She was a homemaker and a member of Church of God of Prophecy.



She is survived by a daughter, Lois M. Kent and husband Robert of Collinwood; sons, Frank Clinton Russell Jr. of Collinwood, TN, Bobby Lee Russell and wife Cindy of Lutts, TN; four grandchildren, Michael, Brooklyn, Shawn, and Christian; step-son, Gerald Wayne (Buddy) Russell of Humboldt

several step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren;

brothers, Frank Caperton and sister in law Bessie of Collinwood, TN,

half-brother, Charles Cummings of Surprise, AZ;

half-sisters, Margaret Nell Hollis of Nolensville, TN, Charlene Thomes of Lebanon, TN, Gloria June Henson of Crossville, TN, and Mattie Garrett of Waynesboro, TN;

several nieces and nephews
