Etta Jennings

ETTA "HOLT" JENNINGS



was born in Wayne County, Tennessee on November 28, 1918 the daughter of the late Walter Andrew and Mary Elizabeth Stribling Henson.



On August 4, 1936 she was united in marriage to Carl Holt, who preceded his wife in death.



Ms. Jennings was a homemaker and also had worked for Roser's Handle Mill. She was a volunteer at the Senior Citizens Center and Ms. Jennings was a member of Savannah Church of Christ.



She departed this life on March 30, 2011 in Savannah, Tennessee at the age of 92 years, 4 months and 2 days.



Ms. Jennings is survived by 2 grandchildren, Janet Waggoner and Rickie Bradford



6 great grandchildren, Brad Waggoner, Ryan Waggoner, Courtney Presley, Misti Bradford, Morgan Stricklin and Miranda Hunt



9 great great grandchildren, Holt Waggoner, Lacey Waggoner, Kannon Waggoner, Kira Banks, Keagan Banks, Cedric Pigg, Hayleigh Pigg, Jocelyn Stricklin and Tyler Stricklin



2 sisters, Hazel Haridison of Arkansas and Willie Ellen Franks of Savannah, Tennessee



one brother, Eloy Henson of Muscle Shoals, Alabama



Mrs. Jennings was also preceded in death by one son, Glenn Holt, 3 sisters, Gladys Black, Esther Melson and Edith McFalls and one brother, Walter L. Henson.
