Eugene Case, a beloved husband, father, and member of the community, passed away on July 2, 2023 in Adamsville, Tennessee at the age of 85. He was born on April 13, 1938 in Stantonville, TN to Gilbert Case and Alcie Mae Henson Case. He graduated from Adamsville High School in 1956 and always enjoyed going to the reunions. He was united in marriage to Carolyn Criswell on March 26, 1960.

In his lifetime, Eugene worked diligently for several trucking companies including McClean Truckline, ABF, Ward Transfer, and Mt. Pleseant Truckline. 

A faithful member of West Shiloh Baptist Church in Stantonville, Tennessee and also a member of First Baptist Church in Southaven at one point in his life, Eugene found solace and strength in his faith. He enjoyed playing the guitar and working in his garden. He also enjoyed hunting and coaching baseball. Eugene was also skilled in leather craft.

He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Case of Adamsville, TN; three sons: Randy Case and wife Kathy of Oakland, TN, Mike Case and wife Sandi of Ringgold, GA, Cavin Case of Southaven, MS; a sister, Martha Tyler and husband Dwight of Adamsville, TN; four grandchildren: C. J. Case of Shreveport, LA, Cole Case and wife Abigail of Greenville, TX, Rebecca Case of Chicago, IL, Cassie Crandall and husband Hunter of Conway, AR; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Case of Adamsville, TN.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Case was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Case; and a brother-in-law, Allen Meek.
