Eugene McDaniel

Eugene McDaniel was born December 21, 1953 in Selmer, TN the son of the late Clifford and Evelyn Taylor McDaniel.

He was united in marriage to Saretha Williams on October 11, 1974.

Mr. McDaniel loved Bluegrass music and playing his guitar. Throughout the years, he played with different bands, at square dances and other events. He loved his family, especially his grandchildren and always made sure they were taken care of. His funny personality kept them laughing, his kindness and caring ways always made them feel loved.

Mr. McDaniel departed this life on October 14, 2020 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 66 Years, 9 Months, 23 Days. He is survived by his wife Saretha McDaniel of Selmer, TN; a daughter, Wendy Baker and husband Gary of Selmer, TN; a son, Kevin McDaniel and wife Candice of Selmer, TN; mother-in-law, Dorothy Williams of Bethel Springs, TN; two sisters-in-law, Elaine Gladish and husband Robert, Michelle Johnson and husband Bob; four grandchildren, Logan Baker, Lainey Baker, Maegan McDaniel, Carson Zellner; and a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to his parents, Mr. McDaniel was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Kenewell; a brother, Robert Harlan McDaniel.
