Eugene T. Phillips

Eugene T. (Gene) Phillips was born December 4, 1932 in Vidalia, Georgia the son of the late John Oliff and Eudene McArthur Phillips.He was united in marriage to Patricia Holloway. Mr. Phillips was a Diesel Mechanic . He was a member of the Landmark United Pentecostal Church in Stantonville, Tennessee. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.Mr. Phillips departed this life on Saturday, May 14, 2011 in Selmer, Tennessee at the age of 78 Years, 5 Months, 10 Days.He is survived by his wife Patricia (Holloway) Phillips of Adamsville, TN; three daughters, Donna Bell of McRae, GA, Kandy McGuire and husband Darren of Savannah, TN, Carol Willis of Savannah, TN; five sons, Danny Phillips of Savannah, TN, Tony Phillips and wife Veronica of Moultrie, GA, Terry Phillips and wife Kim of Dublin, GA, Keith Phillips and wife Amy of Abbeville, LA, Ray Collier of Adamsville, TN; two sisters, Elouise Anderson and husband Bob of Rockford, IL, Bertha Dobbs and husband Bob of North Carolina; two brothers, Rudolph Phillips of Vidalia, GA, Johnny Phillips and wife Sandra of Gadsden, AL; 13 Grandchildren, 9 Great Grandchildren, 6 Step Grandchildren, 1 Step Great Grandson. A host of extended family and friends.In addition to his parents, Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by a son, David Phillips; a sister, Hazel Sharpe; and a step Granddaughter.
