Eugene Watson departed this life on Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the age of 57 years, 8 months, and 13 days. He was born in Hardin County, Tennessee on July 12, 1959, the son of Marion Yarbro Watson and the late Homer J. Watson.

Eugene worked for Clayton Mobile Homes in Savannah, Tennessee and was a member of the Morning View Church in Saltillo, Tennessee. He loved his family, fishing, and watching NASCAR, especially Dale Earnhardt, Sr.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his children, Shanisha Watford of Moline, Illinois, DeQuinn Watford of Nashville, Tennessee, Kalisha Watford of Moline, Illinois, Kiki Watson of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Louis Watson of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, Stephanie Terrell of Davenport, Iowa, and Jeremy Davis of Bath Springs, Tennessee; grandchildren, Akia Matthews, Krystal Young, Jalonta Baylor, Jordan and Zoey Terrelll-Kadera; brothers, Homer Watson and wife Brenda of Selmer, Tennessee, Keith Lowery and wife Linda of Bath Springs, Tennessee, and Josh Watson of Moline, Illinois; sisters, Tammy Borner and husband Thomas of Saltillo, Tennessee, Jacquline Watson of Neosho, Missouri, and Alicia Watson of Moline, Illinois; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Trovell Watford.
