Eunice Davis

Eunice Davis was born June 4, 1932 in Waynesboro, TN the son of the late William Clyne and Vera Pearl Smotherman Davis. Mr. Davis died Saturday, May 10, 2014 at Wayne County Nursing Home in Waynesboro, Tennessee at the age of 81 Years, 11 Months, 6 Days. A former resident of Beech Creek, he formerly was a logger and had worked at Lincoln Brass.

He is survived by a son, Walter Eunice Davis and wife Teresa of Waynesboro, TN; three grandchildren, Jeremy Ryan Davis, Joshua Coty Davis, and Matthew Wayne Davis, two great grandchildren, Kaytlen Ryan Davis and Marion Pearl Davis, two brothers, Joe Lynn Davis and Gerald Wayne Davis both of Waynesboro, TN, three sisters, Clara Nell Dalton of Detroit, MI, Janie Hinson of Hohenwald, TN, and Bonnie Devers of Waynesboro, TN, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his wife, Delta Jean Davis, a son, Harley Dewayne Davis, four brothers, B.S., Junior, John Lewis, and Charles Davis.

Services will be on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Shackelford Funeral Directors Chapel in Waynesboro, Tennessee, with Harold Morris and Jason Love officiating. Burial will follow in the Worley Cemetery on Beech Creek with Shackelford Funeral Directors in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers are Jeremy Davis, Coty Davis, Matthew Davis, and Johnny Davis.
